A&R Intern (Music + Talent Development

Location: Remote/Hybrid (New York City, NY)
Type: Part-Time Internship (Synchronous virtual and in person meetings, event planning and management)

what you’ll do

- Scout emerging artists, influencers, producers, songwriters, DJs, and creative collaborators
-Track industy trends, new releases, platform charts, and viral moments
-Assist with studio sessions, creative planning, and project development
-Help coordinate rollout plans for socials
-Organize files, metadata, catalogs, emails, etc
-Support in social media marketing and generate monthly KPI reports

Internship Terms & Conditions


  • The Unstable Company Internship Programs are unpaid. Upon request, Unstable is willing to work with a student to receive academic credit through their school/university program.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age.
  • We do not offer housing or travel accommodations.
  • We do not offer any work visas for international students.
  • All internship programs are in English.

Duration & Schedule


  • Length: Standard internship term is 4 months (approx. 140 hours total). Extensions may be available if desired.
  • Weekly Commitment: 12 synchronous hours per week, with 4 of those hours (4 hrs/week) dedicated to mandatory online group meetings.
  • Start Date: January 5th, 2026.
  • School Credit: If your school requires additional hours for credit, schedules can be adjusted accordingly.
